Being a military wife - Story of my life

Alright so my husband got deployed to work at Aman Camp in Brunei for the next 1-2 years and here I am at 7 weeks pregnant, waiting for my turn to reunite with him there.
I'm scheduled to join him in November, which is in 2 month's time, and I swear it's not as easy as I thought.

2 months may seem like a short time but being preggy & all, it's a totally different ball game.
I've never felt so needy in my life before haha!
He left me on the 23rd of August and I haven't had the chance to 'Tango' with him for the past 2 nights because of work.
Unfortunately, I'm working at late hours of the night, so he'd fall asleep while waiting for me.
Sad? Yes I am :(

I miss him so much & I need him so much. Urgh!

Pregnancy Woes: Losing my appetite

Honestly, I do not know whether this is normal during the first trimester or not but I worry that it may not be good for my baby. I can't seem to eat a full plate of food. It's like, I'd feel full after consuming a few spoonfuls of maybe rice or noodles and then that's it. Or worse, sometimes I feel like vomiting after eating certain kinds of food.

Other than that, I do take my supplements religiously though:
- Folic Acid
- Calcium
- Vitamin C
- Evening Primrose Oil

With all that said, I'm hoping that my eating appetite will start improving in time to come cos I want my baby to grow big & healthy. ^.^
But then again, I guess I'm pretty lucky that I've not had any morning sickness up to this point. *fingers-crossed* >.<

To-do list

1. Download & make use of the pregnancy apps.
2. Visit the gynae.
3. Stop worrying.

Ok so I've downloaded 2 of the most famous pregnancy apps as of now which is
'The Bump' and 'My pregnancy by Babycenter'.
Both of which have been very helpful to me cos at this point, I'm just eager to know more about the do's and don'ts and also the estimated size of my baby.
Right now, he/she is the size of a Blueberry at 7 weeks! :D
I also collect my 'baby bump selfies' in both the apps, sweet sweet memories for keeps.

As of now I've yet to visit the gynae cos my first appointment at KK Womens & Childrens Hospital is on the 2nd of September. Honestly, it seems soooo long cos I have so many questions to ask my gynae.
I've not had any morning sickness (which is a damn good thing) but I've been having cramps instead.
According to my experienced girlfriends, it's normal so I'll just keep reminding myself that.

Last but not least, I have to stop worrying. Happy thoughts and happy thoughts only.
Only the gynae can make me feel better I guess, which is in like exactly 2 weeks from now.
Till then, I definitely gotta take a chill pill. xoxo

The Surprise of 2015

Hey this is my first post ever and I hope to share my journey as a mum-to-be while we wait for our bundle of joy's arrival - In about 8 month's time, God willing.
So here's a short introduction -- I got married exactly a year ago to Hadidi Faizal, the love of my life.
We are proud Punggolians and we have a pretty happy-go-lucky lifestyle actually; despite him being a civil servant and me a singer/songwriter/musician. I mean, that's 2 totally different jobs/people right? Hehehe

We got married on the 16th of August 2014 and it was not until the 9th of August 2015 did I find out that I was finally preggy. Firstly, it was Singapore's National day & secondly, I found out about my pregnancy while on a holiday in Bali!

I got a positive in Bahasa Indonesia! Haha! I'm just overjoyed, excited and thankful. I can't wait to visit the gynae!
I'm currently 6 weeks 5 days pregnant & I've been referred to KK Hospital so I'll be updating about the visit soon! Inshaallah. xoxo
