So is it a girl or a boy?

This is the most frequently asked question among my family & friends, eventhough I'll only be able to find out on my 4th month which is in November hurhur. I guess everyone's just as excited as I am hehehe :D

Anyway, my sister-in-law sent me this the other day & I thought that it's coincidentally true based on the birth of my siblings & I. It's also apparently true when tested on my husband & his siblings. This chart shows the possible gender of your baby:

With that, I was 24 at the age of conception and the month of conception was in July....So my baby is supposed to be a boy! ^.^ Hehehe let's see whether this chart proves itself true this time..and maybe you guys can try it out as well :)

Now that's me at 11 weeks...baby bump is growing~

Till next time, stay strong & healthy Baby D. xoxo

Cyst check & Baby D at 10 weeks

26th September 2015

A few days ago, I had my cyst checked. They had found it on my left ovary on the previous check up and wanted to have a follow up on it.

The cyst was 8cm in size so the sonographer said that it most likely will create problems during my pregnancy. Which means I probably have to go for surgery to remove the cyst at around 16 weeks.

I really can't wait for my next visit next week as Baby D would turn 12 weeks/3 months! ^.^

I'll be taking the downsydrome test on the 30th September and then the visit to the gynae on 1st October - the following day.

Till then, stay strong & healthy my little one <3

Blood test for Downsyndrome detection & a bit of shopping ;)

14th September 2015

Ok I just had my blood test done for the downsyndrome detection which costed me $174 in total.
The actual test date is on the 30th of September on my 12th week, at the end of this month.
The blood test surprisingly hurt though cos I can't remember when was the last time I had a blood test or injection. Haha

I'm thankful that my mama managed to accompany me here today, or else I'd be a lonely pregnant lady waiting for my turn while the rest have their husbands by their sides..boohoo! >.<

On a side note, today is officially Baby D's 10th week in mummy's tummy & I've already started buying stuff only preggers would buy -- Stretch mark cream & Belly belt from Mothercare ^.^

Mothercare stretch mark cream: $17.90

Mothercare//Fertile mind belly belt: $29.90

Well I decided to buy these cos I believe they're gonna be pretty essential as I would wanna prevent myself from having super big stretch marks on my tummy & I still wanna wear my favorite jeans/pants as well ;)

Till next time, stay strong & healthy my little one. xoxo

First visit to the gynae @ KKH

Ok so I'm a week late at updating this blog about my first visit to gynae -- It's better late than never right? :P

2nd September 2015:
Since Didi my hubby wasn't around, one of my girlfriends, Biwa & her elder sister Kak Mai, accompanied me to KK Women's & Children's hospital together with their babies in tow..So sweet of them.. ^.^

After a few hours of registering & waiting, we finally met Baby D for the first time..
Thank God, everything seemed fine according to the gynae. Didi managed to find time in between work to 'Tango' with me so he had the chance to see his baby as well. Both Biwa & Didi cried though haha!

There He/She is at 8 weeks plus. I really want a boy for my first child hehe but in all honesty, we both don't mind as long as the baby is healthy :)
EDD: 12th April 2016.

So my next appointment at KKH will be on the 30th of September for the Downsyndrome scan & then I'll have to come back the next day to vist the gynae for the 2nd time. Can't wait to see Baby D again! :D
